Because Pope Francis is a communist plant. Evil fucker. I’m Catholic, and I knew RIGHT AWAY that there was something fishy about Pope Benedict “resigning” and then this Jesuit upstart comes in and starts talking about global warming and sticking his nose in politics...

It's not the commies but the power behind the commies. They all have the same boss.

You understand that people who helped the nazis were a couple of priests like Krunoslav Draganovic and Alois Hudal and not the whole church right?

"Catholicism created Social Justice Theory and spread Socialism around the world. "

Hahah the number one enemy for socialist/commies has always been the Catholic church you freaking troll. Catholics have been the first to fight them look at the Cristero War in Mexico and Spanish Civil War.

"America is a protestant nation, that's why we are capitalist and free."

The most cucked liberal countries in Europe are all protestant from England to Sweden

You could even go back further. Catholics fought the proto-commies, the French Revolutionaries. The Vendee Catholics rose up against them. It was also in the early part of the 20th century that Our Lady Of Fatima appeared in Portugal and soon after, the Portuguese rose up against the commies that had been in charge in Portugal. In fact, one of the teachings of the Church is that "no one can be a sincere socialist and a true Catholic." That statement from sixgissimo anno has been on the masthead of the United States' oldest Catholic publication - the Wanderer - for over 100 years.

Catholicism didn't give us Liberation Theology. Communists invented Liberation Theology and inserted into all Denominations in the U.S. That's why most mainstream Protestant denominations are but a shell of what they once were. They have rejected the Biblical teachings on fornication, divorce/remarriage, abortion, abortifacients, contraceptives and modesty.

Catholic Social Justice is completely different from SJW Social Justice. Communism is literally against Catholic Teaching. One cannot both claim to be Catholic and espouse Marxist beliefs.

Pope John Paul II knew how to stand up to communists. The KGB actually tried to kill him because was such a thorn in the side of the USSR.

He certainly isnt reading Catholic Doctrine either. The Church explicitly condems socialism as an ideology of envy.

She had a human father did she not? Is Jesus' birth not significant because he had no human father? Are you saying that Jesus had to be born without a human father to attain perfection but Mary didn't because she was already sinless?

If she's so special, why does she have no books in Bible and why is she mentioned in only a small part of the Gospel?

Is Mary even mentioned outside the first four books of the New Testament?

Mary, was full of Grace, according to the archangel Gabriel. One who sins is not full of grace. Do you think Gabriel lied? Do you think the mother of God was just his incubation suitcase and not a singular instance of complete holiness among all human beings? Mary is the Ark of the Covenant prefigured in the OT. The Ark, held the staff of Aaron symbolizing priesthood, the ten commandments which is the law of God, The bread (manna) that came down from heaven while the Jews wondered in the desert after leaving Egypt. Jesus is the Priest of God who offers himself as a sacrifice for our sins thus he is what Aaron's staff prefigured. The Ten Commandmants are the laws of God and Jesus came not to abolish the law but to fulfill it. Jesus said he is the "Bread of Life" and to do this as a memorial to him which Catholics do at every single Mass every day - re-enact the Last Supper in the Eucharistic Liturgy. All these things, Mary had inside her when she carried Jesus Christ our Lord. Mary is the Ark of the Covenant. She is a human singularity.

God, who created both Adam and Eve sinless and full of virtue, “immaculately conceived” - created another such human who would birth Christ into the world. Christ - sinless by His very nature, deserved a mother who was at least the equal of Eve in virtue, and made sinless by the fullness of grace by which God held her up. He gave her the fullness of virtue. His prerogative and entirely fitting.

Mary had a human father, therefore, a sinner needing saving. I'm sorry this is hard for you to accept.

tombombadil 2 points ago +2 / -0

The whole reason that Mary was the only human capable of conceiving Jesus was because she was without sin

The Pope is not the Church, the faithful are the Church. He is merely the heir to St Peter, and St. Peter denied Christ three times.

Become a non-denominational Christian like so many of us have become. The Roman Catholic Church was used since its inception to control Christians by the Roman government.

6
Smurfection 6 points ago +7 / -1

The Roman Emperors were literally hunting down and killing Christians. To say that RCC was working for the Roman government is as dumb as those people who say that the USA and USSR were working together during the Cold War to oppress third world nations.

1
infosecpatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

LMAO. Who the fuck do you think gave legitimacy to the RCC? HINT: a Roman Emperor. Then they injected a bunch of pagan shit into Christianity, such as praying to Mary (HINT: If you actually read the bible, she's barely brought up.) Almost every 'Catholic' I know, including family members.. believe in Abortion and vote Democrat. "Most Roman Catholic beliefs and practices regarding Mary are completely absent from the Bible. Where did those beliefs come from? The Roman Catholic view of Mary has far more in common with the Isis mother-goddess religion of Egypt than it does with anything taught in the New Testament. Interestingly, the first hints of Catholic Mariology occur in the writings of Origen, who lived in Alexandria, Egypt, which happened to be the focal point of Isis worship." ... "Roman Catholicism has “saints” one can pray to in order to gain a particular blessing. For example, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla is the patron saint of fertility. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. There are multiple patron saints of healing and comfort. Nowhere is even a hint of this taught in Scripture. Just as the Roman pantheon of gods had a god of love, a god of peace, a god of war, a god of strength, a god of wisdom, etc., so the Catholic Church has a saint who is “in charge” over each of these and many other categories. Many Roman cities had a god specific to the city, and the Catholic Church provided “patron saints” for cities as well." .. "The idea that the Roman bishop is the vicar of Christ, the supreme leader of the Christian Church, is utterly foreign to the Word of God. The supremacy of the Roman bishop (the papacy) was created with the support of the Roman emperors. While most other bishops (and Christians) resisted the idea of the Roman bishop being supreme, the Roman bishop eventually rose to supremacy, again, due to the power and influence of the Roman emperors. After the western half of the Roman Empire collapsed, the popes took on the title that had previously belonged to the Roman emperors—Pontifex Maximus."

I haven't darkened the doors or dropped a dime in the collection plate since Francis made his anti-American comments a few years back. He is evil incarnate.

Paintman05WhiteSox 7 points ago +7 / -0

The Catholic Church put together the Bible in the middle of the fourth century. There are many teachings that Protestants find unbiblical but are actually Catholic traditions during those first 330 years passed down from the apostles and the church fathers.
