I am an old woman, well, in my 60s, Jesuit educated with a degree in Theology. I understand the desire to help the poor of the world but as you said, it has turned into a disease. I am the granddaughter of two sets of immigrant grandparents. Two from eastern Europe. Growing up communism was the boogey man in the closet, and the truth of it was drilled into our heads. I just don't get it. Sorry, to be wordy in my response. thanks for writing. cheers!
