I have a feeling this is the one. The one they feared when RBG died.

One Vote Away is the name of Ted Cruz’s book.

23
Harper42190 23 points ago +23 / -0

Jay Sekulow is who you don't want to argue SCOTUS with.. lol I doubt Cruz would be arguing on behalf of TX in this one.

JusticeforNatalie 11 points ago +11 / -0

One good reason to get Cruz for this is that he worked with Kavanaugh and ACB to successfully argue a SCOTUS election case.

Mcs117 15 points ago +15 / -0

This would be the final chapter in the Lion Ted redemption arc

1
SheDoc 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ted's gonna need to add a new chapter to his recently released book. Can't wait!!!

Ted will argue this. Ted will win. Ted will become LEGEND.

Maybe John Roberts will be removed on account of Lolita Express flight logs and DJT will appoint Cruz to SCOTUS

I mean, when he pulls this off he will have proved that already.

MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 6 points ago +6 / -0

Honestly, Cruz realizes that unless Robert's is gone, him being on the court would mean little when Roberts can just handwave every case on the grounds he's Chief Justice.

Him being on the Senate gives him front line access and if he can prove that he's changed to Trump's base the reward to be president is right there, assuming he beats out his other rivals and provides a case upon to build on whatever foundation Trump has laid out.

1
Shakakka99 1 point ago +2 / -1

How does this get 'argued'? If they hear the case, does he get to stand up and speak? Legit asking. Today with the PA thing it seemed they just ruled.

2
KickingPugilist 2 points ago +2 / -0

They didn't rule against the case, they ruled against reversing the certification of votes. The case is still pending.

I get that they're different cases. I just wanted to know if the SCOTUS could "hear" a case without listening to arguments.

36
BillBarrsSkelatons 36 points ago +36 / -0

Yeah. I told people the day after the election this was the path. States suing another state for fraud or disenfranchisement.

23
BillBarrsSkelatons 23 points ago +23 / -0

Actually, they did. They violated their own citizens as well as yours. If we have a set of rules and one state changes the rules (or 5) and the outcome changes as a result; we have become a party with damages, aren’t whole, and seek remedy.

Very good Pede!!

8 state coalition? Media sure is spinning this thing. Big bomb dropped. Need smoke to clear

6
Cyer6 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's being reported on Newsmax and other sites that Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, South Dakota will be joining the suit. But we just don't know yet what that means. Did they prepare their suits? Did they file them? Is this just governors and AG's saying they will follow TX? Not sure yet.

They weren't mad when RBG died because they actually cared about her. They were mad because they knew Trump would replace her (he did) and they knew it would foil their election plans.

2
proudtobeadeplorable 2 points ago +2 / -0

possibly Justice Roberts will be asked to step down (on account of Epstein flight logs) in the new year as a pardon and Cruz will be recommended to fill his seat :)

Then why is Ted Cruz & Mark Levin posting that they are disappointed with Courts decision? Honestly I don't know what to believe - but I do trust Ted & Mark, as they are constitutional experts. If they are sad, then....

2
KickingPugilist 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because the court didn't halt the certification of votes in PA for the PA SC case, not this one. The PA case is separate and still pending.

Link to contact information for all Red State AG’s. I dig through each site and pulled the phone numbers, emails, and links to contact forms. Wouldn’t let me edit post after I started so all contact info is in thr comments. Contact them all!! Have them join with Texas!!

The rest is icing for the public

Disagree. Without the people getting caught red handed on video, without the Braynard evidence, without the million-maga protests,

without these things the Supremes would say "yeah it was bad, but Slow Joe can be President this time and we'll ask states to pretty please fix their elections by 2024"

These cheating states stole votes from all of us. Please defend my vote SCOTUS

3
Chompz 3 points ago +3 / -0

Sorry to bug, but does this mean SC will indeed hear the case, or does "docketed" just indicate that it's in their calendar to be considered for a hearing? Also, what is a realistic timeline for a judgement if they are hearing the case? I'm sorry; I realize this may have been asked already. Thank you.

2
deleted 2 points ago +2 / -0
2
NeverInterruptEnemy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Right. But I think the chance they don’t hear this is low. The SC are still 9 humans and they want legacy. They will want their opinions to be referenced in 200 years... well, assuming they come down on the right side and the country lasts another 200 years that is.

2

"The coalition of states" thing is FAKE NEWS. It is the result of a conflation of the Bookvar case from Nov with the TX case, stemming from a poorly worded statement from the LA AG. TX has not yet been joined by LA, or any other state.

This disinfo is being pushed hard, and the harder it gets pushed, the less people will be contacting their state AGs and pushing them hard, because so many believe it's already happening. It isn't... yet. Keep the pressure up!

2
NeverInterruptEnemy 2 points ago +2 / -0

CALL YOUR AG, FUCKING BE HEARD

Even if you read here that your state signed on.

2
Redpillhope 2 points ago +2 / -0

But then they decide what, to not allow electors from those 4 states?

So then...

Biden: 244

Trump:232

So then it goes to congress and 1 vote by party per state? If so, is that automatic or do RINOs get to step in?

1
deleted 1 point ago +1 / -0
2
Luther1521 2 points ago +2 / -0

As of this moment there's no coalition and it's only been docketed. See the corrections sticky at the top.
