The safer we become as a society, the less tolerable even the slightest danger becomes. We've gotten soft.
And because the media has not once put the Covid risk in to any kind of reasonable or responsible perspective the low-information types believe they're actually experiencing some higher than normal levels of danger.
I remember when I was in high school back in CA one year the news was covering SHARK ATTACKS!!! Every day, going on and on about shark attacks. People were starting to get afraid of going to the beach. The irony was that years shark attacks were at a 10 year low.
Yep. Do you remember when 1/8 of an inch of rain was reported as
Stormaggedon? At around noon today, Southern California had an Amber Alert over our phones to stay inside the house due to Covid!
