Normal ICU utilization rates during cold and flu season run about 70%.

So many people completely miss this. The ICU utilization number is only relevant IN RELATION TO normal utilization.

If you print "ICU capacity is at 75% utilization" people think SHEEEEIT THAT'S BAD but if you print "ICU capacity is at 5% higher utilization than last year"...no one cares.
