Antifa will burn and destroy things anyway. It's what they've always done regardless of anything. It's their M.O. Any person in a position of authority who doesn't see that and already know that is too shortsighted for their position of authority.

Giving into bad actors and groups like Antifa only encourages them to continually behave with their bratty attitude. Giving into them will only convey to them that they can get away with it, and they'll just threaten more things.
