No, if you hit play on the video (it’s not a picture) you’ll see that it appears that CNN embedded a current video in an old article. What’s more, the page loads with a different thumbnail. Whoever posted this on twitter had to hit play on the video to advance it far along enough to see the woman getting vaccinated (today), pause it to take a screenshot that shows the old Oct 22nd date on the article, then post it on twitter to give the impression from their screenshot that the woman originally pictured back in October. In other words, they’re messing with us pedes.
Good catch! I clicked through the photos on the article but must have missed it somehow? That being said, I did catch daily mail running the same photos for Italy later saying it was from the US. If it wasn’t for my daily news habit, I wouldn’t have known or paid attention. The media does have a habit of this (and has been caught multiple times this year alone) so I thought it was just another one of those times.

A site like Reddit is obviously that way, so it's no wonder it has issues, but a new site should just have a feed of stories and the only dynamic content should be a comment section.

That video is obviously not tied to that story. It says in the chyron that it's about this story, and if you look at the COVID stats on the side, it doesn't match up with October's numbers.
On October 22, the USA had 8.7 million cases and 228k deaths. This image shows 15 million cases and 285k deaths, which approximately lines up with Worldometer's stats for about Dec 5-6.
Also if I go to that article now I get a different set of videos.
