and I was talking with an active duty service member in the grocery store this afternoon. I asked if they were being forced to take the Rona vaccine and they said that as of right now it's only on a volunteer basis. I found this interesting because during my 20-year career in the military there was no volunteering when it came to immunizations. I remember guys getting discharged for not taking the Anthrax shots.

Vet here.
Youre Voluntold to do everything.
This is interesting.
I agree I still have my small pox scar
As do I bud
Have any longterm symptoms?
None really. But still remember that damn scalpel thing putting that shit in my arm. I would post a pic not sure how
Not sure, when I retired ten years ago my yellow vaccination record was like a mile fucking long. I guess time will tell. I would not be surprised if I get diagnosed with some bullshit later in life.
Active Duty here.
No Vaccine is being offered.
I am in a place that would get it first.
Not been offered or mandated here either. Dont think where im at would get it first or even early though.
This.
Also a great heavy metal band.
Scott Ian got arrested for stealing the on deck circle at a baseball stadium
That's pretty funny. On the list of Rock Star Shenanigans, I'll take it over Ozzy pissing on the Alamo.
Anthrax and China flu is a little different. The difference is anybody with common sense knows COVID is a scam.
Can you confirm what their mask policy is? I assume its mandatory when it applies.
Only mask I remember having to wear was our BC mask full seal only way to be safe. 100% filtered air not this bullshit.
Hated suckin rubber
unlike Eric Swalwell.
It depends on the post. The General in Colorado is straight up crazy. An officer might get kicked out of the army because one of his soldiers only had his mask over his mouth during training.
Yes I asked that question and yes it's mandatory. That's why I refuse to go to the commissary on base.
Its mandatory where I am.
So China has essentially infiltrated our military now as well.
I talked to someone in service. They said that since the regular FDA process was bypassed as the vaccine was fast tracked, it cannot be made mandatory for service members, for now
When i went on my first deployment anthrax was voluntary. When I went on my second, it was mandatory. I only got 1 shot in a series of 6 because there was no docs to follow up with in Iraq.
Probably just asking for volunteers to get the first few doses. If nobody raises their hand someone will be voluntold.
Are they still barring people who’ve had covid from enlisting?
I'm 'guessing' it's a bit too experimental / new to be treated like most other vacs.
I have no idea tho.
(oh, and ty for your service!)
