The old days: the old vets remember when the front page algorithm broke and we spammed the front three pages with Donald's face and STILL YOUR PRESIDENT captions 🤣🤣
What losers. Reddit had to
Implement new site wide rules
develop new front page algorithms
Change so stickied posts can't hit front page
Develop an algorithm to pad the numbers of active users online (remember when it was something crazy like 80,000?)
Pad the subscriber count. Was only 400k? But that one day the advertising sub count proved we were at like 6 million!
Halt new subscriber count from adding to the total. Went from thousands of new subs a day to like 3 every few days
make a "Popular" tab as to better regulate what is shown to users
quarantine us under "cop hating pretenses" (which is hilariously backwards)
Make a series of Reddit official announcements and thread talks about what they're doing to combat "hate speech" aka salve whiney redeitors complaining about TD being active
ban users
shadow ban users
Harass users in DMs
dox users
make 100 different BlueWave/EnoughTrumpSpam/TrumpTweetsTrump/ConservativesForBlue fake subreddit a where they have one 10.5k upvoted post to hit the front page with anti-trump news
Kill any AsKReddit thread that had positive Pro-Trump posts
Warn users for upvoting the wrong posts (seriously)
Instantly ban anyone who posted in TD from posting in other subs
Spam BlackPeopleTwitter with anti-Trump posts, and delete all anti-Clinton/Biden/Harris posts (saw it with my own eyes)
Astroturf the entire site with propaganda
Edit users posts through the Reddit backend database, so the users posts doesn't show the "edited" asterisk. Reddit admits admitted to this, saying it was "just a joke" to blow off steam
Ban an entire sub
This is all from memory, I'm 100% sure there's more, but look how they try to demoralize us.
You can't demoralize 250+ years of red blooded patriotism. We are the Sons and Daughters of Liberty, posting memes and shattering leftie dreams.
can you explain what happened? i might be out of the loop here..
