Can a Pede help a Pede here? Is the insurrection act different from martial law? How are the two related / different from one another?

From what I understand they are different. I think Insurrection Act targets certain individuals and organizations. However, martial law is related because it is a potential way to enforce the Insurrection act, if needed.

I could be wrong, but this has been my understanding. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this.

That's how I understand it as well. The Insurrection Act would be used to declare a state of Martial Law.
