I hope and pray the military and President Trump have this all planned out. From everything I've been reading lately it sounds like an actual civil war would likely quickly lead to an invasion by China and I think this is the Democrats end goal as if they could kick off a civil war and then have China invade they could gain a foothold on our continent.

I think the best option may be for all sides, if things get to a point where it seemed secession was inevitable and unavoidable, is to allow the split to occur peacefully with the conservative side maintaining military dominance to repel foreign invasion. I think it's absolutely critical to avoid a major weakening of the conservative military as this would become incredibly unpredictable and maybe cause world war 3. I don't see how people in far left states could turn down an offer of a peaceful split if that became the only option. These people don't have spines, they aren't going to do any actual fighting themselves.
