Ofcourse the welfare, medicare, and other 'safety net' ponzi-schemes are falling apart. Between them siphoning money out for themselves for bribes and a smaller younger generation unable to support the cost of a larger older generation they have to keep it from collapsing somehow. Like any form of insurance, the fraud only keeps working when more people are paying in that what is taken out.
