you are part of the reason why the government thinks they have the right to do what they are doing now.

Just wait until driving your own car is illegal for health reasons.

The writing is on the wall. Unconstitutional gubernatorial rulings are just turned over to the “health department” for “the good of the people”.

Mandate your state and local government get their “health department” under control.

They already do that, red flag laws.

You know what I think we should do to stop this? Vote rinos in some more. They haven't defended our second amendment over the last 40 years, and we haven't figured out that they are the enemy, so I think it'll be good for us

You want to know what stops tyranny dead in its tracks? Killing the order followers and their families without quarter until they stop carrying out tyrannical orders. That's how it gets stopped.

You win.

Name any freedom we have today and just call it a health crisis and your local health department has more power than the police.

I am not even a smoker and I hate the smoking bans. I even hate the smell of my hair from smokers, but the bans are horrible.

inch by inch. it's been happening since i was born (and i'm old). "be nice, it's not a big deal" . The problem with our side, the rational side, is that we are accepting of all people; we are fairly open minded and realize that others are different. But THEM: it's push push push, ask for more, more, more... never mind 'ask', Demand. " And you better pay for it!!"

Hard for me to argue against you not wanting to be exposed while working there and having concern, but my fundamental argument against the smoking bans at the time was that it should have been the private establishment’s choice to ban it.

Just like today I would say if a waitress is worried about COVID, wearing a mask is perfectly fine, just don’t mandate that businesses force me to when I enter.

As we're being told in some states that we can't eat outside due to a virus, or that they want us to wear masks in our own home.

It sounds like you may be the moron around here.

lol...if someone said “ALL restaurants will be closed because of a virus no more deadly than the flu” 10 years ago would you call that person a moron? I would have, so I won’t hold your comment against you.

This is all just another step toward mandating whatever the government wants for you because it’s a “health” crisis.

Two private citizens have the rights to make decisions about their own property? Just because you happen to agree that cigarette smoke is annoying is it government's place to make it illegal. Why not just let the private business owner do what they want to do and people who want to go there can go there and people who don't want to go there don't have to go there.
