I mean did they though? You have to reach out and take it yourself. Move to the country, join a church, be the physical and spiritual strength in your community and the rest will fall into place.
I live in the suburbs, I'm in a church, I'm physically and spiritually strong. I trust God's plan whether or not the rest does end up falling into place.
My complaint is how dang hard it is to find someone else who shares these values. I literally don't even know one marriageable woman. They're such a rarity around here, they're swept up in high school. Everyone is poisoned by feminism, or by the decadent entertainment/dietary habits of America, or by the growing rejection of God and morality.
I'd prefer to not ditch the family that I've lived around for more than 20 years, and I'm mad that I basically have to in order to find a woman who's even halfway respectable.
