What? What prompts you to say that? I had a trial subscription for a while and was pleased with their reporting — all except for their stance on the legalization of marijuana. I’m for it; they are against it.

Thank you for responding! What I'm asking for is more specifics about why you are calling Epoch Times a cult. It is a pretty serious thing, in my opinion, to accuse a group of being a cult, and so I'm asking what prompts you to say that. Like, to which cult does Epoch Times belong? Etc.

Falun Gong does not meet the definition of a cult, I'm sorry to tell you. Just being another religion than Christianity doesn't make something a cult. And further, I believe strongly in American values, and especially the one that drove the Pilgrims here on the Mayflower: that here in America, we can worship according to the dictates of our conscious.

I don't know. China does hate their guts. Wait, that's not quite right. China loves their guts when they can harvest their organs. So they really like their guts but hate that they are a rabid anti-ccp group. I don't require a purity test to appreciate some of the things they do. It's a subscription to their paper, not their religious dogma.

Are you a CCP plant? Because you're sounding like one. EVERY religion started out as a rebellious cult. The word "cult" became an insulting word when modern culture associated it with evil, scammy and perverted religions.
