Defunding the police isn't about social justice reform its all about corruption. The less they have to put towards police the more they keep for themselves.

Yes exactly. The difference is they've lost their faith in our institutions a long time ago. They've been demoralized to the point of hating our institutions. Think about the lefts feeling on every issue. The police are racist, justice system is racist. Healthcare/education will prey on poor people if we don't allow anti-America systems to replace the traditional American way. They also believe the majority of people are evil/racist.
Not alot we can do about that except that in the aftermath, we find our soapbox, explain our points and reasons about why this happened, make sure the facts are out there for those willing to listen, and never leave any of their claims about a Trump dictatorship uncontested.

I actually support defunding the police for a different reason. If you ask a cop right now in any city over 100,000 you will find they spend over half of their time on BUM DUTY. They hate it. I suggest that we freeze the police budget in return we take bum duty from them.
