They will then consolidate these these two areas, then using the massive manpower and resources, subjugate the rest of what the Han call "China." Generally stopping when the limits of communication and logistics prevent maintaining a subordinate government or shipping supplies from this region.
This continues until the leadership starts getting corrupt or runs into the limits of communications and logistics. China turns inwards to prevent "foreign corrupting influence and dangerous ideas". And either implodes due to internal politics or an external power taking advantage of the States weakness.
And we start the cycle again.
