During Trump's speech last week, he put emphasis on (paraphrasing) counting only ballots that are legal, verified, and received before the LEGAL DEADLINE.
How is this applied to mail in ballots? Is it based off of the date the ballot is signed or the date the ballot is counted? I would imagine if the Dems were manufacturing mail in ballots they would be dated prior to November 3. I'm also pretty sure they would lie and say that the ballots were mailed before the legal deadline and "found" at the post office on election day. It's fucking maddening. Can someone who knows more about this shine some light on it for me?

To my knowledge, this only applies to votes received after midnight. The Democrats aren't just going to admit they arrived at the counting center after the deadline. They will almost certainly claim the votes were already there, and they were merely counting past midnight.
It varies by State, but the Post Office can possibly receive votes on behalf of the poll counters. If the ballot is stamped with a postmark from the 3rd, they can bring them to the center after midnight. All part of their plan to circumvent election protection measures.
Regardless of their actual arrival time or backdated stamps, the ballots can prove fraud on their own. Fraud should be painfully obvious with a signature match or ballot inspection, which is why the Left and RINOs are fighting so hard, kicking and screaming every step of the way.
