It is not only that, it is the quality of some of the Veterans on our side & even on here ,there was that Veteran a couple of Gundays ago who posted the video of him dropping a huge Wild Hog at over 1200 yards & the gear he used must have been $10K + exceeding Mil Spec ,he had been a designated marksman in the Army from memory & the rifle he built outperformed the 338 LM ,
The video showing the vapor trail of the bullet across the 1200 yards until it flattened the hog was amazing up on a mountainside with the wind howling through the trees, someone said the bullet had nearly as much energy at 800 yards as a 308 at the muzzle.
These are the guys we have & want on our side if anything ever did happen ,which l doubt it will.
No sorry & the search function is still down ,it was an awesome video being able to see the vapor trail of the bullet & the delay in the sound of the hit.
My pops is 82 now. Hes a badass like that, taught my kids marksmanship, courage and calm as well. Dudes like him are needed now more than ever. Thank God i had the foresight to raise my kids in the 1950s style in rural nebraska, in a town of under a 1000 people. Grew up using their hands, shooting guns, playing rough, and being honest. They are not MILLENIALS by any stretch, thank God!
