Exactly this. They are morally corrupt and it's us against them. So by merit of being a "Democrat" they are "good" unless they work with us and against a Democrat in any capacity. They don't care about corruption because they are just as corrupt. They will lie, cheat and steal in a heart beat if it means getting ahead.
There's truth in that statement. Some liberals are just flat out dishonest. The vast majority of liberals and most normies are not intentionally meaning to be dishonest, they just are selfish, afraid, and intellectually lazy. Then once they've drunk the Kool-aid, it's difficult to not fall in line l, because doing otherwise crumbles so many things they've taken advantage of and exposes all the harm they've done. That's a hard psychological bridge to cross.
