It's free, which is the account I'm using, and it's secure which I don't consider gmail to be because Google can, and probably does read all my gmails. I know for a fact they do read some, they've scanned airline ticket emails before so that their Google Now automatically reminds me. That's when they accidently revealed their BS-ery years ago, no doubt they're also secretly scanning purchase orders, financial emails, and such.
Try it out, I think they're pretty good, and there's nothing to lose with the free account. Their app/web interface is fairly straight forward.
Not really sure how it could be a worse provider, it hasn't lost any emails nor any delayed emails slow to come in from what I could tell. Seems to work fine.
