During his second term, Trump should switch recognition of the legitimate government of China back to Taipei.

I think we're on the brink of a full scale physical war...and Trump is doing everything he can to prevent it otherwise millions of lives may be lost. If we can keep this on an economic and cyber scale we can prevent it from going beyond that.

MAGA_or_GTFO 15 points ago +15 / -0

you then bring in full naval power

economic blockade...cut off the money

wait for the Chinese people to revolt and overthrow "the party"

arm Taiwan to the teeth

but all this is after Trump gets the election sorted out

complicated business folks....

with two carrier groups in the South China Sea and trade agreements with Taiwan, his next step is to recognize them as an independent country.

A step which is long overdue, and I fully support it.

after that, he probably go for Hong Kong

Although I would certainly rejoice to see it happen, that would be on far shakier grounds. Hong Kong is actually Chinese territory, and the commuist government would be obligated to respond militarily to any attempts to separate it.

Taiwan is NOT an independent country, it is the RIGHTFUL GOVERNMENT OF CHINA PROPER!

Not sure we really want a nuclear strike. The way I see all of this is China took advantage of a vulnerable situation. At some point in time our "Elected officials" decided to go rouge. They should be held accountable; China along with many other countries took advantage of it for many years as they should have. This was our flaw. We need to hold accountable the people in our country and set the example that is shown around the world we will not tolerate it. I say public execution would be a fine fit. We need to take a stand from the inside for the outside to know we are not fucking around anymore. Now if we catch wind China is going to strike us with physical war we should strike first and use the chicoms cough and infiltration as our reasoning, to hopefully put a stop very quickly to them. One thing we need to keep in mind is China is flipping (is) towards communism and the people of china do not want that. The people that do are like Antifa here. We dont like them nor do they represent America at all. We can hurt China very badly by winning this election and moving our business back home. China is on the brink of financial collapse. All their money is backed by our dollar. We win we own China. It's the complete flip.

Yes that is not the way to go. If our elected officials sat at the sidelines and let this all happen and slowly recruited around them more people in office. That is on us. Put it this way if china caught wind of this happening in their government what would happen to those people? That answer is our answer at this point. Not fucking nuking people.

13
Build_the_Narwhal 13 points ago +14 / -1

Yeah, no. The Chinese citizens are slaves. I don[t think you should be funding their economy, but nuking them is a last resort, not your go-to reaction. Slit the throats (metaphorically!) of their government first.

frogwithbreasts -24 points ago +7 / -31

Prove it. Show us evidence (not circumstantial innuendo) that China is so deep in our government that they've "recruited and flipped" enough of our elected officials to change the nature of our entire nation.

IF WHAT YOU PROPOSE IS TRUE and Trump followed through with your batshit suggestion of nuking a nation of 1.3 billion people... wouldn't we be at an insane disadvantage to be 1.) engaged in nuclear war with a near-peer military power while 2.) agents of that power run amok through our halls of government and 3.) the vast majority of our populace is opposed to such a war?

Here's a little tip for life: Some people will be disagreeable to you for reasons you don't understand. Sometimes those people will be in power. Often, people in power are willing to do corrupt things to stay in power. None of those qualities indicate being owned by a foreign state. They just indicate what we all should already know: Not everyone thinks like you (thank God). Power generally attracts shitheels. The American government is full of shitheels, many of whom fundamentally disagree with you on some level. You don't need to make up a Tom Clancy novel to tie this all together.

No way do we want a nuclear strike. There are enough good people in China to take that country back if we can help.

Optigrabz 7 points ago +9 / -2

I agree!!! Arm the Chinese People. Drop Guns not Bombs!!!

WRONG. BILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE COMPLICIT TO COMMUNISM. They could have overthrown this government long ago.

The CCP owns a massive amount of USD. The nuclear option for them is the sell it all off and flood the market with it, essentially destroying it's value. There is no quick stop to this. Not even close. Our economies are so tied up it's quite fascinating how two seemingly opposite entities could be so intertwined.

The best way to win a war with China is to stop shopping at Walmart, Amazon and to a less degree, Costco. But all the big boxes who fund the CCP are the problem. We are in a capitalist market and should behave as such. Allowing the government, even under President Trump to try and curb stomp the Chinese is a foolish venture. We the people should be the ones turning off the CCP tap, not POTUS.

"All their money is backed by our dollar. We win we own China. It's the complete flip."

Keep in mind that 23% of all US Dollars (since the creation of it) was created this year. The US Dollar is now hyper inflated, which means all currencies in the world are too.

The Central Banking system has fuck all people for the power of the elite.

Trump's gonna tare it apart too.

The institutions of the USA are already sold out but it is not to China.China is just an active partner; we should be more worried about the silent partner. the silent partner is who we never talk about because people here are afraid

Yeah this tweet scares me a little.

Like, shit is about to get real and I’m not really sure how to prepare personally. I live in the fucking Bay Area of Commiefornia... it’s about 80/20 liberal in my area (or so the fake voting would have us believe)

Maybe I should head up north or something... hypothetically I work from home so maybe I could rent a house for a couple months... feels so weird living here during all this.

Find somewhere within one tank of gas that you could hole up at for 6-12 months.

You're welcome to come to the farm in Georgia, but it's probably too far from Jersey tbh.

1
ButterGolemsAhoy 1 point ago +2 / -1

Fuck that. NJ is red.

At least outside of Jersey city/ Newark/ Trenton

3
Paul_Revere 3 points ago +3 / -0

That seems to be the norm these days. Solid red states, with blue, ultraliberal, minority-dominated cities holding the choke collar. It's always the cities.

I don't think our problem is simply liberal vs. conservative. I think it's urban (majority liberal by default) vs non-urban (majority pragmatic).
