Rumble has the worst licensing terms on the Internet. If you post there, you lose all rights to your work. Rumble says that all rights go to Rumble and YouTube. Yes, they explicitly enable YouTube -- the enemy.

You can sure as hell write your Congresscritters. This action by YouTube is unacceptable.

Why are there no mass protests in front of their offices? I mean people did that in front of banks in NY.

The better question to ask is how come we don't know where the server farms are.

Shouldn't the DOD just be able to disconnect their connection?

I'm for Freedom of the Press. And, Freedom of Speech. This is neither, so...

Sure would be a shame to see them burn down.

Getting our own platforms is fine and all, but that will prevent us from redpilling normies.

32
Pukeahontas 32 points ago +32 / -0

The only way is by never using a single goolag product again..

7
Cyphr 7 points ago +7 / -0

Correct. They sell a really crappy product. Switch to a better product (duh).

Use Rumble and/or BitChute. Any other good alternatives?

2020: when commie nerds tried to take over America, and our GOP Senators did nothing but hold meaningless hearings and tweeted empty threats about section 230. going forward, we must demand that in order to gain our support, a candidate needs to pledge they will not except any pac money from big tech.

Not communist; they don't care about that, as long as there is CENTRAL control, and they believe they are the ones that are going to wield it.

2
NoMoreMao 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sounds like communism to me.

Yes. Rumble.

3
KickingPugilist 3 points ago +3 / -0

Free speech alternative to youtube.

1
Netupsar 1 point ago +1 / -0

ATM almost as incompetent to handle the infrastructure as Parler. All signed up for a while, can't sign on FireTv(I KNOW!) app, programming of app SHODDY! It will take a while to get the patriot programmers to deliver the stability we take for granted.

1
theredneck 1 point ago +1 / -0

If you choose the non exclusive licensing you retain the rights to your video. That's what I always do.

8
ggtrump2020 8 points ago +8 / -0

Follow these people to other platforms, no longer use Youtube.

3
Eroticaenthusiast 3 points ago +3 / -0

Don't just follow, actively encourage others to leave. Especially the big names people actually watch.

2
Skogin 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, share alternative platform links exclusively.

1
2
Eroticaenthusiast 2 points ago +2 / -0

Eh, not really actually. Anybody who is actually watching lefty propaganda is not going to be phased. Ideally we would convince the mainstream up loaders to dump YouTube and move. We don't just want a free place to speak, we want YouTube to be punished for its bias, and since YouTube has a long history of being kinda shit to the uploaders anyway it really shouldn't be that hard to out do them

6
Wrexxis780 6 points ago +6 / -0

Delete your account and don't use it again. Simple as that.

5
TwelveMoreYears 5 points ago +5 / -0

Use Bitchute

2
Judiwont 2 points ago +2 / -0

I always have problems with bitchute. Like it attacks my phone.

2
Skogin 2 points ago +2 / -0

There are apps for BitChute?

5
randomacct1024 5 points ago +5 / -0

Mass Exodus. Youtube makes money on ads. Imagine for a minute that 50% of eyes viewing those ads just left. Imagine if those big money making content creators just said fuck you. Thats a big hit to the wallet.

4
Banick088 4 points ago +4 / -0

Need to just switch

Twitter -> Parler

Reddit _> TheDonald

YouTube -> Bitchute?

Now that the election is over, we need to completely change our culture to ignore these fascist websites

2
309MilitiaSgt 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bitchute is awful. Doesn't work all the time and I think it's hacking my phone

Are we big enough yet to FOX them?

3
2008RonPaul2012 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thing is fox is explicitly a news/politics business, so making a political decision like that had instant consequences with its audience.

Youtube is fucking huge. Billions of users worldwide, most of whom are not political, and most of the ones who are lean left. A conservative exodus is not going to make a dent. Any non-political channel that happens to be run by a conservative is not likely to stand up and risk being deplatformed as well. Like for example I subscribe to a lot of guitar channels. I imagine some of them are right wing, yet none of them are going to risk losing their following on the biggest video platform by speaking out.

3
309MilitiaSgt 3 points ago +3 / -0

Do you forget there's 80 million of us? That's a pretty big dent.

2
2008RonPaul2012 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes perhaps if enough people took a stand on this issue, they would make a dent in revenue, but I don't think this is a business decision on Youtube's part either. They are a subsidiary of Google, which is a subsidiary of Alphabet. Within that corporate structure, there are many examples of companies who lose money, but which nevertheless serve a different purpose. This is clearly a political move. I mean don't get me wrong, anyone who wants to ditch goolag products can and should, but my point is we don't have access to the same direct financial pressure points that we did by turning off Fox.

Consider that the largest mobile operating system in the world, by far, is Android, which is owned by Google. Every android device ships with google apps, including youtube. While it is true that youtube makes money off advertisers and paid users, it doesn't have to. Simply by carrying your android phone and using any google service, you are providing data to the mothership, which is then monetized. So even if you never watched another youtube video again, as long as you use other google products, they are insulated from market pressure. And who is to say that Google isn't receiving cash infusions from the CCP to make up for lost revenue? That's just one tiny example.

So while it's a simple ask to get 80 million trump voters to stop watching fox news, it's a different matter to get any significant number of them to stop using their mobile phone operating system. And the main alternatives, by the way, are Apple, which is part of the Big Tech landscape and very likely shares your data with China and/or the NSA, and a bunch of weird Chinese operating systems that spy on you directly. Otherwise you can do some Linux thing, but come on, no significant number of conservatives is going to go through all that. Or of course, you can go back to flip phones. Which maybe is the best option at this point.

4
Wolverine 4 points ago +4 / -0

Divest from all Google products.

Get rid of your Gmail (use protonmail), stop watching YouTube (try LBRY instead), drop chrome browser, find an alternative search engine, look into Linux based operating systems, try out a a non-android/iOS smartphonr like the pinephone, delete all social media to be safe.

You may have to sacrifice some convenience and luxury, but the cost of doing nothing is far greater.

3
MrMcGreenGenes 3 points ago +3 / -0

RSBN and that Alex Jones snub tho.

3
freespeech1a 3 points ago +3 / -0

Just stop using Twitter and YouTube. We have LBRY, Rumble, Parler, TDW, etc.. No need to use those old platforms anymore. We build new ones!

3
VoteBlaster2000 3 points ago +3 / -0

Free market warfare! A.k.a use something else.

3
You_Aint_Black 3 points ago +3 / -0

It's been 4 years or so since they started purging "anti-semitism"... then they threw Alex Jones off... we all saw this coming and nobody did a thing. Now we're supposed to care because they're finally shoah-ing the "non-edgy" people?

Fuck non-edgy people, you are part of the problem because you said NOTHING while they shat on YOUR rights. Well, at least they didn't call you RACISTs, amirite?

2

Google panicked. Too late. The horse is out of the barn. The Texas lawsuit was filed. SCOTUS is activated. The people are burning the phones. The momentum is ours...

They can't affect the outcome. But they just burned billions of dollars in revenue from disenfranchising millions of conservatives. This will go down as one of the worst business decisions in American history.

Protest by walking away. Don't go on Youtube again. Don't use google or gmail or any of their products, like the Nest thermostate.

I moved to ProtonMail months ago, use Duckduckgo for online searches. Use Rumble and Parler.

DEATH TO TYRANTS

I hate to encourage patriots to aid and support Google, but on occasion letting fly with a storm of videos criticizing their decisions has gotten them to change their policies. Like when you own a restaurant and you decide to start padlocking your dumpsters, you might find 20 bums bitching at you who can't post their videos....I mean pick their dinner out of your garbage.
