Alphabet owns Google and Youtube. Further, any app that is on the play store or apple store had to agree to censorship conditions (terms & conditions) to even be allowed on these stores at all. Platforms who have refused these terms have been removed and banned from these stores.
They exist on the store because they have agreed to Google & Apples terms. If they hadn't, or if they weren't following these terms, they would not be listed on these stores.

Youtubes HQ is about a 25 minute drive away from Googles HQ. The same executives are running the show at both companies.
