I just can't believe that's even being entertained in Texas, regardless of whether it gets anywhere. BTW, there are MULTIPLE anti-gun laws being sponsored in TX--from requiring federal interference in gun sales between family members, to allowing businesses to deny CC patrons access.
The fact that this is happening in TX is outrageous.
Let's see:
-The homeowner's obligation is to flee the home at the first sign of intrusion
-If the homeowner can't flee he must cooperate with the intruder(s)
-It's the homeowner's responsibility to ensure nobody gets hurt
