Etsy deleted three of my listings. When I talked about it on the forum, they deleted my post. Etsy has gone to the dark side. Given Youtube's actions today, it makes me think this is coordinated. Here are portions of the email they sent me:

I just saw one of their virtue signaling commercials. It had it all, POC, gay dudes kissing, racial bs.

So I sell tie dye shirts on Etsy. We used to sell a lot of red white and blue shirts and a lot of American flag tie dyes. Now we barely sell any of those. Something has shifted in the way Etsy shows my store from 2016 to now
It's sounds like they have been trying to keep their political views hidden, while messing with the algorithms. But, now they are sending out "secret" emails to cancelled conservatives. I'm not liking that. Looking to quit Etsy by the end of the year.
Lots of cottage industry regular folks just trying to make a living there - I would suggest you use Etsy to find what you want, then contact the crafter directly to order their items sans Etsy getting a cut.

I sell my photographs for a living. Chose NOT to use Etsy (about a year ago) as part of my online presence. For reasons such as these. They've been anti-America for ages.

From what I've seen from Etsy the past few years, they have left the handcrafted, Indie market for full mass manufacturing and high profits.
When your big sellers decide that it's cheaper to open their own website or go to another platform, than deal with the $0.20 listing fees, 3.5% transaction fees, the advertising fees and so on; you've got a big problem.
I was considering getting on Etsy because of the massive amounts of traffic and the name, almost everybody has heard of Etsy, but I would run the risk of being a tiny, tiny store among all the other tiny, tiny stores. How can anyone compete with that?
If you search on their site for "2020 election" it's all pro-biden stuff.
