Tell me I'm wrong:

The idea of bringing people from the other side of the aisle has merit and can be successful when the target audience is one of reason. So saying that, I am all about red-pilling. Hell that's what we've been doing for years/months/weeks! I'm not saying we give up on others and become all clan-ish because, well, we haven't really been that way yet.

Waking up the moderate left is only a step in the process and that box has been mostly checked at this point. Motivating them would be next. I am not comfortable with exploiting fear or even inciting anger. This would make us no better than the bad actors, even if we think it is for good. If someone doesn't care enough about the country to march against the current by their own internal compass, then I honestly don't have time to waste on convincing them to do so.

Football analogy (from my husband btw female pede here): there are competitors and there are "jersey guys" - some play for the love of the game/team/competition, some play because they get to wear a jersey to school on game days. The difference in the two isn't always obvious but is easily detected by their game on the field. Group A plays fearlessly and fiercely and takes whatever appropriate actions necessary for the team. They are usually coachable and able to see the game on a macro and micro level. They have faults but they are dang loyal to the team and to the game. Group B plays scared with reservation and doubt. They aren't really in love with playing the game and usually have reasons to play other than they want to. While they may love being a part of the team, they are satisfied with holding their helmet in their hands for most of the game. This second group is who you really don't want to put on the field clutch time - they are a liability, they are non-committal, they will get themselves or someone else hurt. In saying this, neither "player" is a bad person per se, they just have different goals or philosophies. Some are right where they should be, like a fish in water. Others don't quite fit in that niche or just aren't motivated by that task.

Let's wrap this up... We live in the 21st century, in the least censored country on earth - the information is out there for people who want to find it. No one forced me to come to TDW. No one had to convince me. This year alone, I have ingested more MSM than ever before and just from watching what plays on Fox News for months on end, I began to see how even they were manipulating facts and I'm not even a super intuitive autist genius. It is possible, by way of watching your normal MSM, to wake up to the fact that something just doesn't sound right. How can you justify millions of pissed off people of many different colors, backgrounds, professions, etc.? Well, you can't say racism - that doesn't work anymore. We are telling people to pay attention with the red pill shower. The people that are paying attention are waking up. We are now past that step. The thought of trying to convince lefties, even the moderates, feels pointless. No matter which side of the political spectrum, Americans have a tendency to want to make up their own minds - some of us don't like to admit we've been wrong and believed a bunch of BS, even if it wasn't by our own intentions. I find it best to leave it alone when it comes to specifically targeting and recruiting left wing groups over to our side. Team "Group A" will rise to the occasion and play no matter what and they don't have to be convinced of shit.

This hasn't been about RIGHT or LEFT for a long time now - it is RIGHT or WRONG, LIBERTY or CENSORSHIP, FREEDOM or ENSLAVEMENT. If someone doesn't see that, it is a choice plain and simple. If the threat of losing the freedoms afforded us by those who came before and died for our freedoms doesn't motivate you half as much as listening to Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight", leave your jersey in your locker and ring the bell because battle ain't for everybody. Now LET'S F#CKING GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Canadian here. Agree 100%. There is a big gap in ideology between the left and right. I consider myself about as far right as you can get (want all control of my own personal liberty). And I’m tired of being labeled a lunatic for wanting that. I don’t believe even with a “mass awakening” that this will change as socialists will never accept my personal liberty...that’s why they’re socialists.

At this point, I just want people who want to be on my team. And we'll do it for the sake of everyone, not just our team.
