He used the same trick the Democrats used in Minnesota, but on a national scale. Jacked up immigration numbers, and then lowered the years needed to become a citizen from 5 years to 3. Basically imported a shit tonne of people and stuck then into strategic ridings to do the hard jobs Canadians won't do, like voting Liberal (our Democrats).
Even now in a "pandemic", they announced they would bring numbers up to a historic 400k immigrants a year (not counting border hoppers, refugees, and other groups). Trudeau wants Canada at 100 million people by 2100. Not looking forward to being a minority in my own country.

If refugees became because of war, it would be obvious but it is mostly young men and not women or children.another thing to consider is that lot of migrants are coming from countries without war.
