I mean, if they’re rich enough to “escape” then why are they wealthy in the first place? And even before I knew of all of this I never trusted the Chinese. They took over my whole childhood neighborhood. Not a lick of English to be seen and now I know why. It’s a take over. I’m sure some did escape but I feel many are just here to subvert.
I am sure that is the case with a large portion of them
Are you, though? In my experience, although that is true of a lot of foreign students, and even from other East Asian countries like South Korea or Japan, it is not generally true of Chinese students, who mostly plan to return home directly after their studies are completed. Just my anecdotal experience, there's probably a study out there somewhere.
Most of the chinese just come for the education and then go back. And most of them are from wealthy chinese families who have all the power and advantage at home, many from families of high ranking CCP members.
True. I've known a lot of Chinese students. Only one couple and another male student intended to stay after their studies were over. All of them were vocally anti-communist and said they wanted the political freedoms available in the U.S. I do wonder what they're saying right now, though.
That might work at the population level but at the individual level I think we could agree there are Chinese citizens who love America and actually want to assimilate here.
Sure, there are bound to be some, but we've got enough problems to deal with already. Why bother trying to sort them out from the rest? We would benefit more from closing our borders for a couple decades, particularly when it comes to the chinese.
They come here arrogant as hell. Their government has eliminated everyone that will tell the truth. They're all SPIES, every last one of them.
They are in every single department in every university. They steal and/or influence in Economics, political science, agriculture, vet med, botany. You name it they are knee deep in our world.
Maybe an unpopular opinion here but I feel a lot of those people know their country is bad and just want to have basic American freedoms.

How many turds do there have to be in the punch bowl before you refuse to drink from it?
