Matt Couch and his team of PI's have been investigating Seth Richs murder for years. They traced his steps, knocked on doors, talked to his friends, exes etc. He's just relaying what was told to his attorney.
If he's telling the truth, then I have to wonder, why is the FBI extracting files and information from Seth Rich's laptop now? This is something they should have been doing years ago. I can only assume that the attorneys forced them to take action on the case, and now they're pretending to investigate.
