I look to you for an alternative suggestion. I know some people use archive websites, personally I don't trust those either. Who runs them? Who pays for them? Are we sure archived sites can't be modified by the site owner? etc. I know it's possible to overwrite an archived website snapshot by telling the site to re-archive it...
My frustration isn't with linking directly to twitter, it's with posters here treating social media posts as official sources of truth.
I, personally, have no clue who @MArepublican18 is. I just yearn for higher standards when reporting something. For a group of people who bash fake news, this site is really eager to trust anonymous sources on 4chan as another example.
And yes that's what the username means. I took it from the Mises institute, a libertarian think tank that I was way into during late middle school / early high school. I'm a lot less libertarian these days, pretty much every day I grow older, but boy were Mises and Rothbard good at quelling communist ideas at an age where I would have been otherwise susceptible.
I am so sick of this sub becoming a twitter repost cesspool.

Do we yet know if this has actually happened?
Look at you, vetting sources like some kind of intelligent and critically-thinking researcher!
Good on you.
Your name, does it mean "Do not surrender to evil?"
I try, anyways...
