I'm a yankee originally, but have lived in the south for more than 35 years (Georgia and Virginia). This part of the country, for the most part, consists of deeply patriotic citizens. The north has 'em too, but they often get drowned out by the liberal noisemakers who make the rest of the world think the north is completely cucked
Back in the days of the wood-burning cook stoves (in my grandparents’ pre-WWII era), cats used to crawl into the ovens for privacy and warmth when oven wasn’t being used.
