So, this summer my wife and I honeymooned in Arizona and I subscribed to an emergency alert service to make her feel better about the fires near Tucson going on at the time (We could see the glow at night from our hotel at night).

After months of silence (There werent even any messages about the fires while we were there) I suddenly get a text and call from them about the coronavirus and that hospitals were at capacity, and that I shpuld wear a mask and stay home.

Any Pima Co pedes who could tell me how legit this is, or is it due to the happenings in the last couple of days. I didn't even get any coronavirus alerts before now.

We got one of those emergency alerts here in Santa Barbara CA yesterday. They're only for hand-wringing liberals. The rest of us didn't pay any attention.

Oh i don't give a flying fuck about the corona virus, I just thought is was weird that juuust after the news of the Texas suit and the YouTube lockdown I get a message after months of silence that I should stay indoors and and be scared of the 'ronas. Especially from a blue county in a contested state.

Hospitals ALWAYS fill up during flu season. Water is also wet. Carry on.
