This happened about 25 years ago...
I was 14 or 15 at the time. Every year my family would go up to my Grandpa's cabin on the Hood Canal on the 4th of July and stay there for 4-5 days. This is in the Puget Sound area of Washington. The Hood Canal is about 2 miles across, and miles long. The Cabin was right on the shoreline, and when the tide was up the water was right under the deck of the cabin.
My Parents, Mormon, invited their Mormon family friends. My Brother and I didn't want to hang out with them, at all, so he invited his girlfriend along, and I invited my friend along. On the 5th of July around 8-9pm, all 4 of us were hanging out on the back deck, in a tent my brother setup. It wasn't entirely dark yet but it was getting there. The sky was mostly clear but within about 30 minutes or so it got cloudy and we got a Lightning storm. We could see lightning about every couple of minutes or so. If I recall right my brother spotted it first, but what all 4 of us saw was 7 Saucer shaped UFO's in the sky. All 7 were in a squiggly connect the dots line type formation. They were not moving, and about a minute so lightning struck through all 7. They stayed there for a couple more minutes then each one right after the other suddenly moved at 100's of miles per hour with no sign of acceleration to a sudden dead stop not far off. They would stop again in a squiggly connect the dot line type formation, wait a couple of minutes and lightning would strike through all 7 again. They would then repeat the same thing of waiting, sudden zipping off, sudden DEAD STOP and lightning strike again. I went inside to tell everyone what we were seeing but no one believed nor seemed to care... Very disappointing, but they are all Mormon, so there ya go. I grabbed my Grandpa's old Binoculars, and went back outside. We could already see them well with our naked eyes, but we got an even better look with the Binoculars. All 7 were indeed Saucer shaped, and I don't know if it was the lighting, but the top looked very dark while the bottoms looked like a Pearlish Silver.
We watched them repeat the same thing over and over again for at least 30-40 minutes before we lost sight of them in the clouds. We kept trying to spot them, but we just didn't see them again.
Now when I say they moved at 100's of miles per hour with no sign of acceleration, I mean it was sudden high speed to a sudden dead stop one after another.
This wasn't anything natural, and this is not anything man made. There was clear intention, and nothing living with our technology could survive those G forces. Come to learn that it is theorized that UFO's move within a bubble of Space/Time that they somehow alter the field around them for movement and speed. This would account for them to not be affected by G Force without being liquified inside. I can't say exactly why they would be doing what they are doing but I think it could be some form of recharging their batteries so to speak. This isn't drone technology we have either, so it isn't that.
All 4 of us saw the same thing. My Brother and I have talked about it every once in a while over the years. We haven't talked to his X Girlfriend in forever, so we can't say what she remembers. However my old friend Jeff, whom I lost contact with years ago, and just a few years ago got back in contact with on Facebook recalls the exact same story. This shows to me that it isn't a game of telephone between me and my brother, and letting our memory or imagination making any shit up.
We saw what we saw, and it was clearly something not from Earth, and it was clearly of intelligent motivation.
Before all of this I thought maybe we weren't alone, but I wasn't sure. Now I am more than sure.
I don't find the whole Aliens thing creepy at all. I find it fascinating. For any Civilization to reach a Type 1 on the Kardashev scale, it would have to overcome its own possible self destructive nature. I find it absurd to think they would be predatory as well. With Type 1 tech you are not in need of resources as it's all out there, or, with advanced 3D Printing tech, you are in an whole other world of ability.
This doesn't mean they are entirely ethical. They could be exploitive, but not sinister in intent, though still able to be damaging. I don't fear the idea of Alien life. I want to learn more. How did they develop. What kinds of beliefs did or do they have. Do they have one giant cultures, or are they made of many cultures. What was their worlds life like before they came into creating civilization. Do they have their own arts? Did they progress their tech through a form of Capitalism? Did they have their own Tesla's and Einstein's? How many different ways can an intelligent species get itself far enough to travel the stars? Did it ever throw Alien Commies from Alien Helicopters?
I have so many questions. Some are absurd, but still serious, and some are seriously absurd. If given the chance I would be like Johnny 5. INPUT, NEED INPUT!

I have a theory about Space Force. It costs about 10k per lb to send something into space. The only way for Space Force to be possible is to use technology we don't have... On the books... However, for SF to be affordable we will have to use tech that is beyond human design for this time period. If you took a trillion of our estimated universes, and turned every atom into amino acid chain factories that each made a trillion protein attempts per second, it would still take you so long that matter would cease to exist before you got a single usable average length protein.

The key is, you have to start early in the day or you'll miss planes after they go black. You have to select "U" for military. And you have to also select the "P" for persistence button. Sure! So you select "U" on the upper right hand corner - this gets you military. But the MAIN KEY is you have to come on early in the day and leave the window open all day with "P" (for persistence) selected. If you don't have "P" on, you won't be able to see planes after they go dark. I also select "K" (because I've seen MonkeyWerx select it) but I don't actually know what it does.
I was curious about the amount of activity when someone else posted something similar. Where'd you get the average from?

ADS-B exchange. I've been following it all day with the "P" (persistence) function on so that I can see planes even after they go black.
ADS-B has more than just military planes though. Shouldn't it be on MLAT? I am reviewing both and see a blackhawk chopper on both... but on ADS-B I am also seeing a bunch of civilian planes that I know for a fact are civilian planes (work at an airport, lol)
