You think they don’t rage against you. As far as Muslims are concerned, you’re an infidel. And, infidels must die.

I dont want to dox myself, but I have Muslim family and from my experience you are incorrect. But that is likely because I am too close to the issue and you are too far away from it so we wont agree, but that is okay so long as we can both live up to American laws and norms.

That is the only ground I have ever felt secure in my identity: being American.

People are so traumatized by ISIS and Islamic terror in general that they are putting up a strong defense against Islam. That is understandable. At the same time, I think it is interesting that President Trump’s movements in the Middle East have really slowed down Islamic terror around the world. I suspect a lot of these terror cells were taken out behind the scenes. As that has happened, new waves of moderate Muslims don’t appear to be picking up the mantle of terrorism in place of the radicals, and that makes it seem like a lot of them are probably a lot more pacified and westernized than we thought, and that they’re not actually inclined to wage Holy War in the name of Mohammed. If ISIS took over they would probably happily live under an Islamic caliphate, so their loyalty to America is probably less than average, but if ISIS gets whipped they seem equally happy to live in the western world practicing their religion non-violently.

Islamic immigration is still generally a bad idea though because their value system is so much different than America’s, and in many ways the two are fundamentally incompatible.

The problem is that ISIS and the like are the actual true believers in Islam. They are true Muslims.

The "moderate" Muslims aren't actually Muslims at all. They are apostates according to the teaching of Islam. That's why ISIS was as quick to kill them as anyone else.

ISIS truly followed Islamic teachings. Thankfully, most so-called Muslims don't. They don't even know what Islam teaches other than what their leaders tell them. They don't actually read their own scriptures. It's scary, sad, and a relief.

You are correct... as long as they listen to their leaders, they are still deadly dangerous to be around in numbers. Their leaders will stir them up into a frenzy, and then you have trouble... it's the same way with Antifa and BLM... only with religious fervor behind it.

Some schools of Sufi, etc. explicitly renounce aggression. Shi'a extremism, Wahabbism, and its Soviet-spawned offspring can be contained. By opening pipelines and letting fracking boom, Trump has made America energy independent, making actual progress toward peace in the freakin' Middle East!

This is wrong bro. No Muslim anywhere supports ISIS. Muslims who have lived under their rule literally believe that they were intelligence operatives from the West. Most of them were from the West anyway, and POTUS literally said that. Many of them didn't even speak Arabic either lmao and of the few times they did, it was as if they learned it rather than it being their native tongue (e.g. someone saying they were born and raised in the US yet saying "trousers" rather than "pants", or pronouncing "can't" as "cunt"; differences like that, and you can find them all over those ISIS recruitment videos).

Plus, there were already prophecies by Muhammad SAW where he said that these people would come and said not to join them, so there's also that.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The word "infidel" was originally used by Christians of Medieval Europe to describe Muslims. You got it completely backwards.
