I have a theory that Cruz has always wanted to MAGA, but he thought being a corporate Republican was the only way, esp once Ron Pauls movement was dashed in 2012. Then GEOTUS came along, and showed him how to win. He still has his moments, but overall, the redemption arc of Lion Ted, is one of my favorites.
