I like Ted (a whole lot more now than 4 years ago), but I just don't see him as being able to fill The Donald's shoes. VP, sure. But baby Yoda the leader of the free world? I dunno.
Too bad we dropped the ball with Giuliani in '08. That man has some big ol' juevos.
you havent watched any of his comittee hearings or live cases. he really lives up to his name of lion when shit is hitting the fan. 4 years ago he was a never trumper but lets be honest 99% of politicians were because trump came out of nowehere and beat them all, but cruz isnt dumb and hes realized the demographic of his party has shifted as has politics as a whole in the country. im happy its going to be him up there.
And again, I don't have anything against him. I just personally don't see him filling those shoes. I feel the same about Rand Paul, who certainly doesn't have the bark Cruz has, but another politician I admire, but don't think would have any business being Trump's successor.

I have, actually.

Yeah I wanted Rand in 2016. But now I can only see him as a VP or cabinet appointment.
