Nope. Trump has repeatedly said Ted's not eligible to be POTUS based on an Originalist reading of the Constitutional requirements. Trump is correct. Plus Trump knows Ted has niche appeal. Ted could never win a national election so even if Ted were eligible Trump wouldn't support his candidacy. Trumps principled and pragmatic. Thank God.

That bill removes nationality quotas, making our immigration policy that much more merit based. That seems pretty based to me.
It doesn’t increase how many immigrants we take in, only removes restrictions on where they can come from. Immigration levels remain the same.

I always thought Ted Cruz didn’t really want the presidency, he seems comfortable in the courts. I think Ted and Trump have really always been on the same side.
Trump understands power driven people. He won't trust them but is pragmatic enough to work with them if theyre situationally useful. I like that about GEOTUS.

While Teds performance could provide keks and help out, I don't see what it has to do with redemption. He's always loved the spotlight. What's different now? Why imagine self serving behavior is anything more than more self serving behavior thats happily useful? Why not just enjoy the show for what it is? Peace.

It's kind of funny because if you remember Cruz during the preliminary debates and stuff, he along with everyone else just couldn't handle Trump. They didn't know what to do. Trump just manhandled everybody. Cruz looked like a shlub and even had that embarrassing moment where he went to kiss his daughter and she curbed him and he looked doofy. But i agree that he has transformed and has reached badass level.
