I have a question: What are the substantive differences between a civilian court and

a military court/tribunal?

When Donald activates his EO/Insurrection Act, those arrested will be facing a military court, from what I've read.

I'm an Army brat, my father was career, and I heard there were significant differences.

But, I have no idea what those are or what bearing those might have.

Do you?

I read that Sidney Powell is a "military lawyer". Whatdat?

If you want a very good explanation of the difference between civil criminal law and military law (law of war), find the video clip (if it hasn't been scrubbed from YouTube) of Lindsey Graham questioning Brett Kavanaugh during Kavanaugh's Confirmation Hearing. FYI: any U.S. citizen (including government officials, like a D.A., judge, mayor, governor, etc.) aiding and abetting Treason and/or Insurrection is considered an "enemy combatant" and can be tried by a military tribunal, under military law.
