Trump visited and met with most of the pacific nations and worked trade deals to get manufacturers to move from china before he put the screws to China via massie tariifs.
The Arabian trip was similar but focused more on rooting out Radical Islam with the promise of more economics, as well as countering Iran (which if course gets us back to China again.)
