The only problem in their "war games" is they did not account for the massive legitimate landslide that Trump actually achieved. It seems to go off the assumption that it would be a close race and Trump just refuses to accept a loss even if legitimate. The D cheating is so widespread and massive and this isn't mentioned in their scenario. Both R's and even many D's across the nation believe that this election was saturated with fraud in many states. Many D's don't care as long as they win, but many still acknowledge it. Now the country is in turmoil and there really is a constitutional crisis where more than half the country refuses to accept the results and that isn't mentioned in their wargame.

The dominion voting machines and other more subtle methods were supposed to be enough to give them the election, at least that's what they were hoping for, but Trump ended up doing so well that they had to resort to the most blatant last resort option of a huge dump of fake ballots.
