Ted Cruz was the Tea Party choice for Hutchison's seat when she left. There was nothing mealy mouthed about him other than the normal shit you have to spout off to get elected. I have supported him from the beginning and thought he ran for president way too soon and sure enough, he ran straight into the Trump train... Cruz is solid and smart and is one of the few politicians I support with my money and time as well as my vote.
