I was a huge proponent of Ted Cruz in 2015 and 2016. I despised Trump. Cruz had a constitutionally-sound conservative record and Trump talked big talk during the campaign and nothing more. I was really put off by Trump. Then come fall, I realized it’s Trump or Hillary, there was no other choice. Trump has been more than we could have asked for! And I would love to see Ted Cruz go farther in his career than just be stuck in the Senate.
