Exodus 20:4-5:
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Did the verse say "thou shalt not worship the image?" No! It said that thou shalt not MAKE an image OR BOW DOWN TO IT. If you make or bow down to an image of any kind you are going against what God clearly stated in his word. If you actually believe in the Bible this should be a massive red flag.
Uh, how is that interpretation not at odds with Exodus 25 (the same book!)
18 And you will make two cherubim of gold; you will make them of hammered work at the two ends of the atonement cover. 19 And make one cherub at one end[d] and one cherub at the other end[e] of the atonement cover; you will make the cherubim on its two ends. 20 And the cherubim will be with outspread wings above, covering with their wings over the atonement cover and facing each other;[f] the faces of the cherubim will be toward the atonement cover.
God is explicitly instructing what would be a violation of your interpretation of Exodus 20:4-5.
Exodus 20:4-5 forbids making images/icons to worship(context, explanation of first commandment), not making images/icons of holy things.
So do you think the Bible contradicts itself? That's ridiculous. Believe the Bible over the teachings of men (pope and catechisms). Were the children of Israel ever commanded to bow down to the ark? They commited many blasphemies yes, but never commanded. All of the Torah construction verses were a shadow of Jesus, who was to come. The real Jesus. I wonder why the Israelites were commanded to build their camp in the shape of a cross hmmmm? Idolatry? I think not.

The Bible is anti-catholic, here's why:

No. Iconoclasts contradict themselves(and of course, contradict the Bible).
It is a false and man-made doctrine.
The first commandment does not forbid religious icons, statues or images.
