The Support Branches have many honorable Soldiers, but they are also infested with quite a few people who view military service as just another government job. They claim grievances and skate from day one, and claim racism or sexism if their NCOs or Officers attempt to hold them to any sort of "standard." They are on perpetual Sick Call, and virtually impossible to separate from service. Fucking grifters.
I was a Drill Sergeant. Fortunately only Infantry and Field Artillery units. Retired 9 years ago, after 25 years, before shit got really weird.
When things go hot it will be mostly special forces doing the fighting while grunts will mostly be pulling National Guard type duty. I wouldn't worry about some doomsday scenario of the army going around and torching houses that have Trump signs or whatever other masturbatory leftist fantasy. They don't even punch that hard in enemy territory with explicit orders.
I actually think the military should not be allowed to advertise political affiliation while wearing uniform. They should have been reprimanded. Same thing if they held an Obama flag or Democrats etc...
