Why do you think schools no longer teach cursive? So future generations can’t read the Constitution and Declaration of Independence!

It shocks me each time I hear that cursive is no longer taught. I skipped 2nd grade, and the only thing on the curriculum that I missed and needed to catch up on was writing cursive; there was that much unnecessary content in that year's curriculum, and yet it's cursive that was axed. I don't want to think of a future where reading our founding documents would do people's head in the way that some 17th century handwriting does my head in.
