Legalize at the federal level and let each state decide. If it’s not in the Constitution then the 10th amendment says it’s left to the states and the people thereof.

I am against it, but i like this approach to it. If it bothers someone so much, or benefits them so much, they can move to a state that fits their beliefs.

This is the right answer.

Those states that do would see their car insurance rates rise and SAT scores fall. Aren't their enough nut jobs on the freeway already jabbering on their phones.

A 2500 lb piece of metal traveling 70 mph. Do the physics.

Dude they are all smoking anyway. All those laws do is allow authorities to ruin lives for nothing. Fuck the drug war.

So many pro legalization supporters on both sides he is really the only “politician” I think could actually get it done, not to get corny but it really could be part of his legacy

Not that I disagree but who gives a flying fuck about that right now. You’re worried about weed when the election is still trying to be stolen...

Medical, yes. Recreational, no. I think it should only be a minor offense with no jail time though, and police should focus on sex traffickers and people trading illegal weapons more than worrying about weed dealers. The reason I’m against recreational is simply I don’t believe any mind-altering substance should be free and legal to buy and consume for fun. That’s no different than popping xanax for fun. It should be treated as a potent medicine. Also driving high is as dangerous as driving drunk.

I take it you’re against drinking entirely, then?

I don’t drink personally, but I’m against getting drunk. Pretty sure you can’t smoke weed without getting high.

Is that seriously even a concern to you right now? I like pot too but damn

DJQ2020 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s obviously not our number one priority right now but we can be concerned about multiple issues at once.

Pot could be that bridge that connects the divide, a rapper that constantly spews propaganda to millions about how much Trump sucks can’t not support the President that helped legalize Cannabis but idk...one of many of the fronts Trump is fighting on a daily basis

It would connect the divide.

We all know CNN would start being anti-marijuana and will state Trump is trying to dumb down Americans, poison the kids minds, a friend of a friend found a study that said weed makes covid 100000x more dangerous; why is Trump trying to kill everyone..

I hope he does it just to see how those wankers twist it to Orange Man Bad

Sorry to hear that big fella.

Good to see you're still kicking on and didn't give in to suicide like so many with traumatic beginnings.

If we allow others to pick and choose arbitrarily natural rights that can be ignored then it will not be long before more essential rights are attacked, it's not about picking battles it's about consistently defending natural rights.
