Ditch all Google products. They are a merciless monopoly and deserve an excruciatingly, horrible demise.

I've only got one account still using Googlemail - all the others have migrated off. When it's time to renew - I'm taking it off. I'm watching Bitchute right now in fact. I adblocked YT ages ago because they've been really bad with stacking ads for years.

I went to Bing ages ago. It's not totally uncucked, but they don't censor us, and they have huge patriotic images on their homepage on the appropriate holidays. Plus their feature-set matches Google beat for beat. And they haven't been trying to influence the election. Been using Bing since 2016. I likes it.

I too still have a gmail account simply because that's the address I've been spreading for years. Proton Mail is a great alternative and is encrypted and secure.

The only internet available to me is Google fiber.

There only cell service I can afford is Google fi.

The only email worth using is Gmail ( proton is shit and expensive )

The only tv that works perfectly with plex is Android tv

The only navigation that actually works and has 100% accurate time and traffic estimating is Google maps.

You can't even get a web browser in 2020 that isn't chrome, even Microsoft's internet explorer now uses a chrome core, Firefox is now also a chrome core, same with opera and others.

I have at least switched to Bing for 95% of all went searches

The problem is Google tech is so far advanced from anything else out there, your at a disadvantage for not being in the Google verse.

We need Google to be broken up, and all of their software open sourced.

I use brave over chrome. No difference imo.

Dont watch tv its shit anyway. Bang your wife (if no wife go get one), talk to your family, read a book, study to increase pay at work, etc.

Brave uses a chrome core my fren.

It's impossible for you to get away from Google products unless you decide to not turn your device on for the day.

Interesting. What about Tor browser?

So does that mean google could have access to my data from brave?

Eh, as a programmer in the medical field, I'm biased on why tech is a necessity to save lives and allow humans to prosper.

Certain tech is subsidized by the deep state, and that's why it becomes the big one, like zoom over anything else.

But there are a lot of evil and corruption there. Tech is like a handgun or a rifle. It's extremely powerful, and in a modern age almost required to survive (hunt), but it all depends on who wields that tool.

I guess it depends on your lifestyle and geography....

I guess if elon musk's internet ever gets released that's an option, but from what I've read it's like trying to build a multimillion dollar condo tower in New York but you only have enough capacity to build a barn.
