RHEB, Red House Eviction Blockade

Many of them say it’s not an autonomous zone but they’re definitely setting it up as something very similar.

The family who is the subject of the eviction (they’ve been evicted for quite a long time) are sovereign citizens who make some very interesting and baseless legal claims as “American Moors” which is a fun rabbit hole I went down for the second time in my life this morning. I’m assuming the flag has something to do with that.

~

Confirmed, this is more sovereign citizen bullshit. Stands for “SALISH SKAJET KWABACABS TRIBAL REPUBLIC” and it is a trust that was a party to their suit brought against a bunch of people while back found here:

I lived in Oregon for a few years, if I remember correctly it can be a real pain in the ass to completely have someone evicted. It's a lengthy and costly venture for the owner.

Yes, especially if they’re these people. Sovereign Citizens especially American Moors are extremely hard to deal with as they believe that laws do not apply to them.

2259$/mo to rent. I don't get it. And safe to say I won't.

shit happens when you pass laws to pay entry level service jobs 15/hour.

The second that Oregon pass that, and it wasn't to take effect for several years, or at least reach full amount, rent spiked up immediately around Portland/Salem an average of $200/mo

Gotcha, just meant how could such a low rent earner (comparatively) have such value. Real estate is insane in my town, rent for that size of home is about the same but the property assessment would be about 600K. Ten million...it's hard to believe.
