Things are Alito bit worrisome for the republic at this moment.

TheJimmReaper 35 points ago +36 / -1

Why?

All he did was deny PA holding off certification (knowing full well theres the Texas Lawsuit Massacre that it can either be joined too, set in support of, or used to bolster)

Also there is the added bonus of all govs who certified being tied to Dominion via R.I.C.O

Trust the plan, ignore the noise, focus on the signal

I was mostly playing with puns. I was just reading on the SCOTUS justices, i think the Texas case will go down 6-3.

This!

POed_Texan 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, Roberts won't do it even for that. Someone has him by the balls.

2
VolareVia 2 points ago +2 / -0

Surprisingly, Roberts voted against letting the SoS change election procedures in a previous ruling....although I would double check this.

Wharf_Rat 8 points ago +8 / -0

You think Roberts won’t cuck?

13
MAGARondonmonson 13 points ago +13 / -0

If the S.C. allows this to stand the Constitution has np teeth anymore, the States can just stop paying Federal Income taxes, leave the Union etc. etc. If rules don't apply in all circumstances, then they apply in none.

Wharf_Rat 4 points ago +4 / -0

Huh those points you listed don’t sound so bad lol. I hear ya

Still don’t trust Roberts

2
JesseLeePeterson 2 points ago +2 / -0

So.... the CCPSA states can leave, suffer and die and we can move/keep living in the Union?

Problem Solved.

1
MAGARondonmonson 1 point ago +1 / -0

It doesn't matter what way it happens. I would imagine those cowards want to STAY and try to Lord over their underlings............So we would have to form a more perfect Union once again, we would basically have a redo on the Forefathers, but looking back, we would have stricter safeguards on what Courts can do, IMHO. I think that is the law of the Forefathers also, but they have usurped the powers unto themselves.

1
Quietam_Unum 1 point ago +1 / -0

If rules don't apply in all circumstances, then they apply in none.

The problem with your statement is that rules are so arbitrary now that we can't rely on it being true, I agree it should be that way but I also fear it won't.

1
MAGARondonmonson 1 point ago +1 / -0

But you are juxtaposing OPINIES on NUANCES like Abortion where these freaks in Robes find "legal maneuvers" to justify their progressive agenda. This is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. If they allow this Black & White disobedience of the Constitution, then, IMHO, it opens up a pandora's box because of the precedent they would have just set, they would have in essence have just made a precedent that the Constitution can be IGNORED by State Officials.

I mean, there is NO OTHER WAY to look at it.

If the Supremes don’t sing God bless America, then that’s when the WeThe People document comes out to play Battle Hymn Of The Republic.

Republican's are spineless, I fear this supreme court will favor what they feel is a safer path of keeping the status quo rather than one of upholding the Constitution that could lead to confrontation. Donald Trump was like a lighthouse for our republic, if that guiding light gets extinguished we may very well crash into the rocks.

11
ghostsage 11 points ago +11 / -0

The democrats were offered the safer path and declined, it vanished when they refused it. The "status quo" has been that we uphold our Constitution; these states undeniably breached that contract, and enforced their breach to final certification. This case asks SCOTUS to publicly announce whether the Constitution is the law of this land, or if this land has no law. They will side with Texas or they will INVALIDATE the ENTIRE Constitution, union, republic, and country. The USA continues to exist only if SCOTUS rules for Texas.

...so, you're saying there's a chance?

To whatever extent that's true, we've already lost our country. This is a chance, though, to begin reinstating the rule of law to recover it.

I think the Court should rip off the band aid so to speak, the riots that will take place after Trump is re-elected will be bad but probably short lived compared to what will happen if Biden is put in office with results from a rigged election. I feel Patriots will fight back to take back the country from the corrupt politicians and corrupt news media. The Patriots will Target politicians fake news media not your local Best Buy.

Has anyone read it?

TLDR: Keep the mob happy, let them have what they want - Republicans will be fine with it.

Hope not.

sun_wolf 9 points ago +9 / -0

Come on Gorsuch, don’t cuck out! You replaced Scalia!

This is about the U.S. Constitution vs. CNN.

What decides an American Election?

2
WhiskeyRebellion 2 points ago +2 / -0

No, but I know the quote, it's attributed to Ben Franklin and was in the context of the Newburgh letter and the movement to form a constitutional monarchy making George Washington king.

I’m willing to wager that you don’t read any books.

3
Filetsmignon 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think SCOTUS unanimously agrees to take the case. It's too big a case in history, all the Justice's will want to be on record deciding it (yay or nay).

I'm no lawyer, but I've been hearing another theory as to why the lower courts keep dismissing the cases without hearing evidence. Apparently when a case comes before SCOTUS no NEW evidence can be introduced at that point - only evidence that was presented in lower courts prior. So if lower courts dismiss without seeing evidence, and the case makes it's way to SCOTUS on appeal, then the evidence can be submitted. So the theory is that lower courts are kicking the can down the road and denying evidence - cause if they allow it it would be the ONLY evidence SCOTUS could consider. Not sure I have my head wrapped around this theory or if I've explained it very well. BUT, since the Texas case is a State vs. State it starts in SCOTUS where ALL evidence can be introduced - which is brilliant.

I honestly wonder what the general feeling is from judges who are witnessing activist DA's subvert justice by letting criminals go free from jail, not being charged and allowing them to evade conviction entirely. Total whoring of the law. Or do they not care?

Looks like a great Christmas gift. Needs to be pushed up to #1 on all sales lists.

2
realityman 2 points ago +3 / -1

We have Gorsuch, Alito, and Thomas.

Kavanaugh and Barrett are question marks. Roberts is probably out.

You would think Kavanaugh and Barrett would be with us after what they dealt with during their confirmation hearings... but its really hard to tell. I like our odds though.

However, something keeps telling me that we are going to see the supreme court compromise with the left. Something along the lines of splitting the vice president and president elections to give one to each.

Alright Neil I'll make a deal with you: if you rule in Trump's favor and save the republic, I'll buy everyone in my family a copy of your book for Christmas.

The Judges on the SCOTUS have to know that if Biden wins that the democrats intend to stack the court, which will dilute their own power, and deep down, no one in a position of power wants to lose any of it.
